What is Reflexology?
Reflexology has been practiced since ancient times, but was first developed for use in the western world over 100 years ago. It is a natural holistic treatment usually given to the feet or hands and based on the theory that there are points on both of these which correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexologists believe that by working these points through pressure techniques and therapeutic touch, Reflexology can help to restore balance in the body and aid relaxation. Reflexology does not seek to diagnose or cure specific medical conditions, but Reflexologists believe it helps improve wellbeing and may be used in helping to ease the ever increasing levels of stress in our everyday lives.

Things that may benefit from Reflexology
Reflexologists are holistic practitioners which means they support the whole person to improve levels of wellbeing. Every person is an individual, and as such it is impossible to know how you will react to a treatment, however, people may experience the following benefits:
-
Mood improvement
-
Relaxation
-
Release of tension
-
Improved sleep
You may find other improvements too, but this happens on a very individual basis.
